First, the city of Los Angeles offers bulky item pickup to LA County residents by calling 311. We’re all for saving money, so definitely take advantage of that option when possible. That said, there are a few key differences between 311 and professional junk removal like Junk & Bulky Item Taxi. With 311, pickups can take several days or even weeks to schedule, while we offer same-day or next-day service. The city also has restrictions on what they’ll take - certain items like construction debris or appliances may not be eligible - whereas we’re able to haul almost anything. Most importantly, 311 requires you to bring everything to the curb yourself. With our service, we handle all the lifting, stairs, and cleanup, so you don’t have to. While 311 is a great option for basic, non-urgent pickups, we’re here when you need it done quickly, safely, and without the hassle.
